SweCham is pleased to invite everyone to join the APAC Webinar 'After the Storm: Sourcing Trends in China and Southeast Asia' hosted by SweCham and ARC Consulting.

 

ARC Consulting, formerly known as Asia Perspective, has been conducting sourcing surveys since 2013, measuring the perception of China and Southeast Asia as sourcing markets and how this changes over time.  The survey focuses on companies looking to diversify their supply chains to alternative sourcing markets, the prevalence of this phenomenon, and the underlying causes.  In addition, the study also tries to answer the degree to which companies are monitoring and ensuring the sustainability performance of their supply chains.

 

During 2023, global supply chains began to recover after a tumultuous period that was marked by the pandemic and conflicts.  As China reopened, businesses resumed their sourcing activities in the country.  Nevertheless, the return to pre-pandemic levels is not complete, and the trend of sourcing from alternative locations in Europe and Southeast Asia persists.

Marcus Sohlberg resides in Vietnam and manages the company’s expansion activities in the region.  His expertise lies in international sales and operations.  He has a long experience working with both SMEs and Fortune 500 companies in industries like automotive, industrial equipment, retail, and more.

 

Marcus has obtained a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and pursued studies in Supply Chain Management at Chalmers University of Technology.
